Kaivolampi is a small pond in the Lauhanvuori National Park. Near Kaivolampi, there is another pond called Ahvenlampi, which is currently located inside the reindeer breeding enclosure. There is a campfire place and a camping area by the Kaivolampi pond. There is a small pier by the pond, where you can go for a swim. Firewood is supplied and there is even a frying pan, a coffee pot, and a kettle on the wall of the wood storage room. There is a latrine near the campfire place. The route to Kaivolampi pond runs next to the reindeer breeding enclosure, and sometimes you can catch a glimpse of these close relatives of the reindeer found in Lapland. The Lauhanvuori destinations are also destinations of the Lauhanvuori-Hämeenkangas UNESCO Global Geopark.
