The Kodesjärvi beach on the Isojoki river is a diverse and comfortable destination. The area has a sandy beach with a pier, sauna, barbecue hut and firewood, dressing rooms, latrine, and a swing set for children. The sand-bottomed lake is slowly growing shut, and there have been issues with the water quality in recent years. You can leave your payment for the sauna in the box. Water for the sauna must be carried from the lake manually. The water at the end of the pier is pretty shallow.
