Viitalankylä in Kurikka has a 3.6-kilometre long Pahkapolku path leading to the Pahkavuori observation tower. Pahkakallio has an observation tower, next to which you can find the spacious Pahkapesä hut, where you can barbecue sausages. There is also a wood storage, a well, and a toilet nearby. In the snowy winters, there is a skiing track in the area. The path and the skiing track start from the yard of the Viitalankylä youth club. The path goes from the end of the car park to the forest as a forest road. The path to Pahkapesä diverges from the forest road to the left, towards the rocks. A crossroads is marked in the terrain.
