The nice twin lean-to shelters in the yard of the rentable Lauha cabin can be used by anyone. There is firewood, just as at all the campfire places of the Lauhanvuori-Hämeenkangas Geopark. However, you will have to use a saw and an axe to make a fire.

The yard of the Lauha cottage also has a latrine and a well. The water of the well is sampled regularly. The Lauhanvuori destinations are also destinations of the Lauhanvuori-Hämeenkangas UNESCO Global Geopark.

The path to the twin lean-to shelters starts at the Lauhanvuori observation tower.

The rental and address information for the Lauhas rental hut can be found in the Lauha marketplace online store.

Driving directions to the rental hut: From Lauhavuorentie drive the road approximately 3.6 km, then turn north to a small road called “Selkätie” which you drive for about 1 km, then turn left onto Metsänvartijantie. There is a barrier on the road which tenants will get a key for. After the barrier, drive another 700 meters to the hut. The barrier must always be locked.
