In the Mietaa area of Kurikka, along the Hakuni jogging path, there is a small “lake” on top of a rocky hill, with a lean-to on the shore. In the rain, a large puddle of water forms on the hill, hence the name of the lean-to, Kalliojärvi (mountain lake). The campfire place can be found in front of the lean-to, and there may be firewood available, but you should bring your own. Latrines can be found at the beginning of the jogging track near the parking lot.
During snowy winters, there are ski trails in the area.
