The Hiukkajärvi lake in Kauhajoki has a nice, sandy, and clear-water beach. The beach deepens quite quickly. Sausages can be roasted in the barbecue shelter; firewood can be found on-site. The Päntäne hunting club rents the hut and cottage.
The beach is not an officially supervised swimming area.
