The trails of Lake Säläisjärvi are near the center of Jurva. The trails go around the caravan area and past the biathlon stadium.
From Säläisjärvi there are lit trails to the surrounding countryside and longer ski trails to, for example, Lake Niinistönjärvi.
The Säläisjärvi biathlon stadium offers 2 km, 3 km, 4 km and 5 km of illuminated trails.
The Rauhakankaan circuit (Rauhankankaan kierros) starts from the Säläisjärvi car park at about 8.6 km. From the Rauhakankaan (Rauhankankaan) lodge, the distance to Lake Niinistönjärvi is about 8.3 km.
The round trip from the parking at Lake Säläisjärvi to the Rauhakangas lean-to and back to Lake Niinistöjärvi is about 21 km.
