Pietarinkoski, located below Lamminmaa, is one of the finest rapids on the Ikkelänjoki River. The river drops quite a lot in a relatively short distance and over several small thresholds.
Pietarinkoski is a great place to enjoy the noise and beautiful scenery of the rapids, and it is also a good place to catch fish. There are also the ruins of an old mill.
Unfortunately, Pietarinkoski is not suitable for the youngest members of the family due to the challenging terrain and the ruins of the old mill. You should therefore proceed with caution.
